We were delighted to hear that the University of Manchester’s 10,000 Actions project has been recognised at a national awards ceremony where it won the Association of University Directors of Estates (AUDE) award for Impact Initiative of the Year.
The 10,000 Actions project utilises our Staff Engagement software and encourages staff to learn, through the online tool, about the key issues of sustainability such as travel, responsible purchasing and energy, and the actions they as individuals can take to make a big difference. More than 20,000 actions, which range from cycling to work to joining local environmental groups, have been pledged and many carried out since the scheme launched in January.
