Responsibility for Arco’s sales and distribution processes has enabled Danny to obtain a broader understanding of supply chain management from both a supplier and distributer perspective.
As well as being responsible for the introduction of Arco’s renowned Product Assurance Laboratory, Danny regularly visits manufacturers and factories in Arco’s supply base to ensure complete visibility across the supply chain and to educate colleagues.
Danny is passionate about his responsibilities at both Arco and the wider industry, and understands the benefits of sharing his knowledge, practical experience and advice. He regularly speaks at customer conferences, responsible sourcing and industry events and to the health and safety trade media.
As the Head of Ethics and Sustainability, Danny represents Arco at a number of industry initiatives such as:
- ETI Modern Slavery Working Group
- Sustainable Clothing Action Plan (SCAP)
- Supply Chain Sustainability School
- Co-op Bright Futures Programme
