Another award for the Net Zero Carbon Supplier Tool

A Green Gown Award for our Net Zero Action Research Project

Earlier this year we reported that our Net Zero Action Research Project in partnership with Nottingham Trent University had won a gold Association of University Directors of Estates Award for Sustainability Impact .

We are delighted to announce that the project, involving 32 universities using our NET Zero Carbon Supplier Tool, has also now won a Green Gown Award in the category ‘Money for Good.’

The project has helped over 450 suppliers calculate their carbon footprint and develop carbon reduction plans. It has gathered carbon figures from a further 400 suppliers and has delivered carbon reduction training to 150. Working with over 100 professionals from sustainability, carbon management and procurement, the impact has been significant.

Following the success and learning from this action research phase, we have more universities signed up to use the Tool and we look forward to carrying on this excellent work in the coming years. If you would like to get involved, please feel free to get in touch.
