Introducing the Sustainability Sprints podcast

For pioneers, we are coming a little late to the podcast party but we’re hoping better late than never!

For pioneers, we are coming a little late to the podcast party but we’re hoping better late than never!

Sheri-Leigh has been working for several years with Dr Jenny Davidson, Senior Lecturer and Climate Change Fellow at Newcastle University.

Their collaboration has involved a project built around the NETpositive software to measure impact using the SDGs (more on that later) and co-delivering modules on the Executive Education programme. Delivering sessions jointly brought together theory and practice, but it also created opportunities for conversations ‘around the edges’ of the taught material, which the students seemed to really value. A collective experience of around 50 years, and expertise spanning public, private and charity sectors mean quite a few stories that are helpful to anyone trying to make sense of sustainability, especially in a professional context.

The importance and urgency of sustainability means that sharing short-cuts, tips, techniques and how to avoid a few pitfalls is something worth creating. So, the Sustainability Sprints podcast has been created.  We’re sharing the conversations we have, to help people fast-track their sustainability journey. Our approach is a very human, informed but informal one, we hope you enjoy.

All episodes of the podcast are available on Spotify and via Apple

To get a flavour of the interdisciplinary work that Jenny is involved in, take a look at this new programme: Leadership in Climate Change and Sustainability MSc

If you want to help your team or organisation to get there faster, we can probably help. Get in touch for an informal chat.
