Decide who is going to drive use of the tool – all tools need someone responsible for getting them to work. Decide who best fits the bill within your institution. The ideal is a lead from the procurement team who can ensure it is built into procurement process as well as a lead in the environment or sustainability team who can squeeze value out of the data the tool provides.
Make sure you understand what the tool does and how best to use it – read the materials we have written about the tool and the dashboard!
